Evans School of Public Policy & Governance
Kate is a second-year Masters of Public Administration student at the Evans School of Public Policy where she is a Civic Engagement for the 21st Century Endowed Fellow. She currently works for the Environmental Justice and Service Equity Division of Seattle Public Utilities, where she learns from a team of dedicated experts in supporting the utility in delivering racially inclusive and equitable services. Before graduate school, Kate sold books for local nonprofit Mountaineers Books and independent bookstore Elliott Bay Book Company. She also taught a wonderful group of K-5th grade students at El Centro de la Raza and volunteered at the Seattle Public Library. Kate brings experience in community outreach, project management, and research. She holds an undergraduate degree in Politics from Whitman College.
