If you are curious about the name Ba Bar, “Ba” means father in Vietnamese. The Banh family dedicated this restaurant name to their patriarch. His insistence on hard work and dedication to the family had truly paid off, and that same dedication and hard work lives on today.

Brazilian-born Chef Emme, has won culinary awards, including Food Network’s Chopped Champion in 2021 and beating Iron Chef Alex Guarnaschelli in 2022. Raised in Seattle’s restaurant scene, she graduated as the “Outstanding Culinarian” from the Seattle Culinary Academy in 2010. She later became a private chef, served celebrities, and founded her catering company, Soul and Spice.

Southern California native Toni Thomas found her love for cooking in her grandmother’s kitchen. Fast Penny Spirits and Amaricano are the result of Jamie’s dream to create American-made amaro, influenced by her Sicilian background and Pacific Northwest upbringing. Amaricano and Amaricano Bianca, perfect for sipping or mixing, took two years of meticulous development. The brand channels the elegance and fun of Jamie’s burlesque journey, emphasizing community empowerment and celebration.

Footprint Wine

As a sustainability-driven small business, Footprint Wine is committed to minimizing their carbon footprint at every opportunity. This includes wine sourcing, vineyard management methods, product transportation, fair treatment of employees, waste management, as well as the use of salvaged and repurposed equipment, furniture, and design elements in the establishment. Additionally, the decision to offer keg wines on tap further contributes to a substantial reduction in environmental impact.

Full Tilt Ice Cream, founded in 2008 in White Center by Ann Magyar and Justin Cline, crafts natural ice cream with local ingredients. “My grandmothers taught to cook in West Africa. I earned trust making rice by age 4. Meals were celebrations, reuniting family and friends displaced by the Liberian Civil War. After settling in the U.S. in 2001, I stayed connected to West African flavors. Moving to Seattle, I was disappointed by the lack of West African cuisine. So, I began hosting dinners, founded Gold Coast Ghal Kitchen, and now share my food, enriched with spices from home, to bring people together, transcending distance.” – Chef Tina Fahnbulleh

  1. Add 1 – 2 tablespoons of your favorite Tea Moss Shop, Sea Moss Gel to your cup. (Plain Golden, Purple, Green, Full Spectrum, Chai Bliss)

Juana was born and raised in the countryside of Durango, Mexico in a ranch near Tepehuanes with no electricity or running water but food was the essence of life, where all food was raised and farmed.
