12th Avenue Arts features 88 affordable apartments, performing arts space, community meeting space, and local retail – all under one roof at 12th and Pine on Capitol Hill.
Residents at 12th Avenue Arts enjoy bright, naturally lit apartments, dishwashers in apartment, laundry on every floor, several spacious off-street community patios, and controlled building access. Two theaters and multiple retail stores and restaurants are available in the building for the residents’ and neighborhood’s enjoyment. The innovative development of 12th Avenue Arts in combination with performing arts space earned the project many awards, including the Urban Land Institute’s 2015 Global Awards for Excellence; 2014 Puget Sound Regional Council’s VISION 2040 Award; City of Seattle’s 2015 People’s Choice Urban Design Awards – 2nd Place in Midrise Category; and 2015 AGC Build Washington Award.
