Give now to help your neighbors in need

Please support the effort to create a lifeline for our residents and small businesses as they recover from the repercussions of this devastating pandemic. Investing in Community Roots Housing, our residents, and businesses will help our most affected communities overcome the impact of COVID-19, preserving the diverse and vibrant neighborhoods in our rapidly evolving city.

The COVID-19 Resilience Fund helps those most in need. 100% of the funds received will be used to support the residents, small businesses, and vital work of Community Roots Housing impacted by the coronavirus.

It’s distressing for service workers, artists, small business owners, childcare providers, gig workers, or anyone else whose income depends on patrons. Many of these workers are Community Roots Housing residents, and the impact is already being felt. In a sheer matter of weeks, the economy has taken them from a place of stability to a state of personal financial emergency. Residents have been laid off, are working temp jobs with reduced hours, or are freelancers who are not eligible for unemployment benefits.

We don’t yet know the scale of the need but know it will be over a million dollars. Launched with a leadership gift by Stan and Kristine Baty and supported by the efforts of All In Seattle the fund will be deployed swiftly to support residents and connect small businesses to resources to help them survive the closures.

We know that Seattle shares our vision. We know that Seattle wants to lift up those in need and offer support. A gift today could make the difference for someone between resiliency and long-term financial hardships.

Thank you for your donation and for being part of this community that refuses to leave anyone behind.
