Public hearing notice TEFRA – Pride Place & Station House reissuance

NOTICE OF TELEPHONIC PUBLIC HEARING

Community Roots Housing (the “Issuer”) will hold a public hearing on September 30, 2021, at 3:00 p.m., on the proposed issuances by the Issuer, pursuant to chapter 35.21 RCW and plans of financing with respect to each of the Pride Place and Station House projects described below, of certain obligations (the “Obligations”), the interest on which will be excluded from gross income for federal income tax purposes pursuant to Sections 103 and 142 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code”). The Obligations of each issue are expected to be issued to finance the construction and equipping of the Pride Place multifamily housing facility and to refinance the construction and equipping of the Station House multifamily housing facility, respectively, each as described below, and each to be operated as a qualified residential rental project under Section 142(d) of the Code, to provide housing for low-income persons.

$18,000,000

Project Principal User:

CH TOD LLC, a Washington limited liability company

 

Project Description:

Construction and equipping of an approximately 110-unit multifamily housing complex to be known as Station House

 

Project Location:

One or more units within a condominium building located at 929 E John Street, Seattle, Washington 98122

 

 

In recognition of the need to curtail the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, and in accordance with Internal Revenue Service Revenue Procedure 2020-21, as extended by Internal Revenue Procedure 2020-49 and Revenue Procedure 2021-39, the public hearing will not be conducted in person.

 

Members of the public are invited to attend the public hearing by telephone.
