WHAT
Learn if you’re eligible for an affordable apartment and apply to vacant units across the city. We’ll also be offering tours of available apartments in the Liberty Bank Building.
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU TO APPLY
Please bring documents that can help verify your household, income, rental history, and financial information, including:
- ID for all adults 18+
- Birth certificates for minors
- Income verification, such as your last 6 paystubs, Social Security award letter, pension information, or self-employment verification
- Rental history for the last 2 years
- Bank account information

How do I apply for housing? After finding an apartment you would like to apply for, drop-in on June 11! You can also contact our leasing line by calling 206-895-1400 or emailing leasinginfo@communityrootshousing.org.
What are the eligibility requirements? Find all the eligibility requirements for applicants here.
How do I know if my income qualifies? All of our apartments have income maximums related to a households’ Unit Area Median Income (unit AMI). Learn more.
Do you offer HUD-subsidized housing? Yes. If you’re applying for a HUD-subsidized property, begin the application process here.
