The housing crisis calls all of us to the table

Seattle has grown into a city full of energy, creativity, and soaring housing costs. Building the amount of affordable housing needed has never been easy, and it’s only getting harder. Uncertain federal support threatens years of progress the city has made to combat the housing crisis. Nonetheless, local developers, nonprofits, and public agencies — like Community Roots — are being called to fill the gap.

Today, with 8 projects in our pipeline, 46 apartment buildings, and 2,400+ residents, Community Roots needs your support to keep the momentum going.

Join us at Omnivorous on September 18 to stand up and take action to safeguard affordable housing. Together we’ll raise funds to support housing solutions that keep communities rooted while enjoying what makes Seattle worth living in: great food, scenery, music, and people.
