The Resident Advisory Council offers residents the chance to actively participate in a process that amplifies their voices within Community Roots Housing and connects them with the broader resident community. Join the meetings to ask questions, share your ideas about what a CRH resident council can look like, and consider being part of the council.

All meetings will be held at 6 p.m. in room #206 in the 12th Ave Arts building (1620 12th Ave, Seattle WA 98122).
- August 20
- September 17 – Election Day, where residents can vote on who should represent them on the council!

Why have a Resident Advisory Council?
- Ensure equity and representation
- Provide a voice to residents
- Engage residents in decision-making
- Gather resident feedback and input on housing and organizational issues
- Keep all tenants informed of council activities
- Increase resident understanding of how the agency works (regulations, scope, etc.)
- Foster relationship-building among residents and between residents and the agency
- Strengthen community engagement and connection with the CRH buildings
- Serve as a catalyst for creating a place of stabilization
- Advocate for regional, state, and national policy on housing issues
- Develop the skills and capacity of tenants and residents to facilitate and engage in decision-making
- Provide advice and information regarding housing, regeneration, and planning policy
