Join us Thursday, October 8, 2020 from 5:45 to 7 p.m.
Each year, Community Roots Housing (formerly Capitol Hill Housing) brings together some of Seattle’s finest bars, restaurants, and distilleries for a night of exquisite food and drink in support of our work. Although we can’t meet in person this year for our usual fundraising feast, we’re cooking up something new. We are holding a reimagined Omnivorous on October 8 – register now!
Working in the community is our bread and butter. This year, a virtual program will feature a conversation with local chefs as we discuss how we can work together to nourish our community. Funds raised throughout the evening will support Community Roots Housing as we work to build and preserve safe, affordable, quality homes for our neighbors throughout the city.
This year’s event will feature exclusive demonstration rooms hosted by local chefs and restaurateurs. Guests that register at the Immersive level gain access to the full menu of demonstration room choices, such as a lesson on how to make homemade pasta with Sabrina Tinsley, chef and co-owner of Osteria la Spiga. Keep an eye on your inbox for a full lineup of virtual demonstrations coming soon!
Community Roots Housing works alongside communities to build and preserve affordable housing. Our priority is making our neighborhoods safer, healthier, and more equitable. Every donation made at Omnivorous helps connect our residents to the housing, opportunities, and services they need to thrive.
