Thank you to everyone that joined us for Omnivorous last night! Because of your incredible generosity, we had our most successful Omnivorous yet.
For the first time, all the gifts from the night of the event are going directly to rental assistance – $170,000 to support residents and the small businesses in our buildings. Including sponsorships, ticket sales, pledges, donations, and matching gifts, we raised a grand total of over $313,000.
We extend special thanks to our friends Tak Kurachi, Yolanda Elise, Kristi Brown, and Donna Moodie, as well as the many others who devoted their time to our event last night. We are so grateful to these guests for the powerful, vulnerable, and compelling stories they told. You can watch Kristi and Donna’s conversation from the program here.
Community Roots Housing, formerly Capitol Hill Housing, works every day to make sure that Seattle neighborhoods remain accessible to people at all income levels. For those of you who weren’t able to give during the event last night, we invite you to donate to our work now. Funds raised support Community Roots Housing as we work to build and preserve safe, affordable, quality homes for our neighbors throughout the city.
Thank you for your support!
